Throughout my high school years I’ve been part of three clubs on campus. I was part of French Club, Leadership Club, and the RedZone club. When I was going to come into Lindsay High School as a freshman I was actually surprised that they had a class that would teach a different language that was neither Spanish nor English. French was my number one elective that I had choose the day I came to visit the Lindsay High School campus. I was lucky enough to be able to get in to the French class my freshman year and take French one. I did not know they had a French club but the second Mr. Doumbia announced it to the class, me and my friend just turned and looked at each other because we knew we had to be part of it. We would have French club meetings here and there with Mr. Doumbia during lunch time and he would always say something silly in French that at that time we still didn’t know French that well. My junior year I was able to join the Leadership club. Leadership was all about interacting with others on campus, planning rallies, helping out around the community, etc.. I also joined leadership again this year due to the fact that I enjoyed it last year. If I would’ve known how much fun Leadership was I would have honestly joined it since my freshman year. My freshman and senior year I was also part of a club called RedZone. This club would take place in the library every day after school. They would provide us with snacks and a membership to the McDermont Field House here in Lindsay but the whole point of this club was for you to stay after school till 4:30pm and catch up on any work you had so you wouldn’t fall behind.
